'De dageraad' houseboat Bed and Breakfast Amsterdam
Welcome on board our fully renovated Bed & breakfast, 'de Dageraad' (Dutch for 'daybreak').
We offer two luxury, 100% smoke-free rooms, both featuring amenities such as floor warming, en suite bathroom, LCD-television, and free Wifi. Our houseboat is extremely well insulated so you will can be sure off a warm and comfortable stay in Amsterdam. In the morning, you can choose to be served a homemade continental breakfast in the communal kitchen, which you can also use throughout your stay to warm a meal, make a cup of tea, or open a bottle of wine and make yourself at home.
Your stay includes the use of a private deck on our boat, where you can enjoy your breakfast at daybreak while overlooking the passing ships going in and out of Amsterdam. or relax at sundown after a day of sightseeing in the city of Amsterdam.

Surroundings of 'De dageraad' houseboat Amsterdam
Amsterdam's district of Oost ('east') encompasses the areas of the Eastern Docklands, Plantage, Oosterparkbuurt and Amstel. Oost is stringy and spacious, yet it also has plenty of sights and opportunities for shopping, eating and drinking on offer.
In the Oostelijk havengebied (Eastern Docklands), to the east of Central Station, there is a wealth of modern architecture and design, but there are also contemporary hotspots in historic warehouses.
The oostelijke handelskade constitutes the haert of the Oostelijk havengebied. The waterfront stretch is home to the spectacular Muziekgebouw aan het 't IJ concert hall, host to a programme of contemporary music ( and some classic) concerts of the highest quality. And the jazz venue Bimhuis. They are followed by an eye-catching row of pakhuizen- former warehouses that where built in the late 19th century.
